Hostess was very informative and sweet. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. Many delicious breakfast options. The area was incredible! Great moment when hostess gave us tea and brownies in front of fireplace. The place had history as well!

We had such a lovely stay at the Close B & B. We were greeted upon arrival with freshly baked brownies in the garden and we were able to have our small dog with us. Took lots of walks along the common and down to Stroud. Karen was super helpful and had lots of maps and recommendations. We wished that the village pub was still open, but highly recommend the B&B.
A totally great experience. The Close is a beautiful house, historic and charming, yet very comfortable, nicely decorated and furnished, and is very, very clean. Our hostess, Karen, couldn't be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble,and her breakfasts are superb. Only drawback is that the parking is just a little inconvenient in that you have to go up the street to access the garage at back of the house.... but there again there IS private parking, so not really a bad thing. The town itself is quaint, with easy access to restaurants, and is convenient to all points of the south Cotswolds. Would be very happy to stay there again!
